Tabletop Totems Demonstration
About this event
Tabletop totems offer many opportunities for creative expression and functionality. They can serve as unique elements for both indoor and outdoor décor and are adaptable for use as lamp bases or candle holders. During the demonstration, Janelle Sundberg will present a range of project ideas to inspire participants in developing their own tabletop totems.
Key Areas Covered in this Demonstration:
- Janelle will explain different methods for constructing totem bases, including tips on how to support and assemble various types of totems.
- The demonstration will include techniques for making totem components, as well as ways to embellish them with texture and ensure the proper size holes for assembly.
- There will be discussion about the use of spacers and creative ideas for applying stains and glazes to enhance the appearance of the totems.
- Inspiration and Creativity – This is an area Janelle excels in!
Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions to share with the group. This demo should help inspire the planning of your own totem—whether for a tabletop setting or as a larger decorative feature for your yard.
